Giving Thanks!

It is Thanksgiving day and my heart is bursting with things to be thankful for.  On November 4th, I was able to perform the debut of my original music.  Prior to the fourth, only a hand full of family and friends had ever heard the songs I have written.  Just under one hundred of the supportive arts patrons of Jay County came to participate in this music project.  These generous individuals brought me to my goal of raising one third of the total cost of this album.  I couldn't believe their generosity and am so grateful for their incredible help to keep this project moving forward.

These amazing individuals made it possible for me to keep my Nashville recording date. On November 13th, I was able to lay tracks in the most incredible studio in Nashville, the Smoakstack!  I could not have asked for a better recording day experience.  We began at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning and were ready to leave at 1:30 a.m. the next morning.  Although this sounds like a long day, the whole process went incredibly well.  We recorded three full band songs and experienced the synergy made possible by talented musicians, incredible gear, and compatible personalities.

I love how these songs are developing and I'm pretty confident you will too ;)

On this day, dedicated to remembering everything that is good about life and living, I would like to express my gratitude to my family for their sacrificial giving of time, resources, talents, and encouragement.  I thank every person who has given of their time and resources to make this musical vision a reality.  I thank my Heavenly Father for life, health and love.

May you experience His blessings on this most important holiday!
